Public Note:
[PL] Cap: minutely velutinate, reddish brownn, margin retracting, 35mm diam. 6E6 brown. Stem 50mm x 3mm. Stipe: off white, slightly tapering, subbulbous at base, bruising brown. Pores: adnexed (deeply excavated) pale buff, bruisng faint blue-green, then brown. Smell earthy. Spores: 18 x 7um. flesh firm-quickly browning ([jac] brown to start). Taste: mild. Habitat under Kunzea, growing on wood. [JAC] no clamps. spores length=11.4-14.7µm (µ=12.7, σ=0.91), width=3.8-4.8µm (µ=4.2, σ=0.26), Q=2.6-3.5µm (µ=3.00, σ=0.23), n=20. Cap no reaction with KOH or NH4OH. Pores 1 per mm. See http://mushroomobserver.org/45116?q=16PPu. This is not B. rawlingsii - Clive's collection PDD94362 is more convincing. Pat has PDD93803 with same sequence from Asbestos Track, and also originally as B. rawlingsii. Suspect that may have been with tea-tree.
