Specimen notes
Public Note:
in snowbank. This is not a Lachnum, but alo not Fuscolachnum etc. Has textura intricata, brown septate hairs, irregular, tapering and hylaine at apex, numerous thin septate paraphyses infrequently branched and mucilaginous, thick-walled asci with amyloid ring and 1 septate spores with mucilaginous sheath, at least when immature, to 18 x 4um. The hairs are not granular encrusted. No red granules on anchoring hyphae. Asci to 110 um. Can't find anything that remotely fits. Is this actually bitunicate? Patellaria related? Rhizodiscina/Teichosporella/Poetschia?
