Public Note:
taste mild, then hot after 2 minutes. No lamellulae, no smell, FeSO4 salmon, cap minutely felty, bright orange in KOH. Stem white with violet fibrils, peeling 1/4. Gill face not obviously frosted with cystidia like jac12527. Gill edge nowhere coloured. Cap cystidia SV=ve, very strongly, septate. Cap has amyloid layer. A disorganised trichoderm 130um thich. No sphaerocysts. Cap hairs to 200um, rounded apex, septate, weakly amyloid. Mainly 4-spored but clearly some 2. No difference between cheilo and plero. Without refractive content. With weak amyoid spot (grey). Spore ornamentation fienly punctate and variable. Spores length=6.9-8.4µm (µ=7.6, σ=0.41), width=5.1-6.3µm (µ=5.8, σ=0.34), Q=1.2-1.5µm (µ=1.31, σ=0.09), n=20. Id need rechecking.
