Public Note:
FeSO4 grey/green. Smell fishy. Taste sharp/hot. Peeling 50%. Without lamellulae. Choice has to be between rimulosa and pseudoareolata. centre of dried cap is pruinose. Spores subglobose, reticulate. Ornamentation low. Cap hairs broad, with brown content, septate. With occasional cystidia-like bodies with refractive content. Gill macrocystidia not different between face/edge. Occasionally 2-spored, and spores very variable on the gill. length=7.3–9.0µm (µ=8.2, σ=0.50), width=6.7–8.8µm (µ=7.4, σ=0.55), Q=1.0–1.2µm (µ=1.11, σ=0.06), n=23.
