FN284 Smell mealy, no taste. Dried material pubescent along entire length. Base tometose. Cap with what looks like central vellipellis like 12745. Lamellulae in series of 1. Gill edge floccose with cystidia. length=8.2-8.8µm (µ=8.6, σ=0.25), width=3.8-4.7µm (µ=4.2, σ=0.45), Q=1.8-2.3µm (µ=2.07, σ=0.26), n=4. Perhaps G. readiae is best recognised by floccose gill edge, tometose stem base, vellipellis-like cap centre, spores 8um and cheilocytidia shape, not agglutinate.
