Specimen notes
Public Note:
hygrophanous. Gills in series of 3, colour more bolbitaceae-like than galerina. Cap a clamped cutis. Spores thin-walled, smooth, without germ pore. Cheilocystidia cylindrical variable. Mostly 4-spored but spore sizes suggest some 2. length=5.6–7.8µm (µ=7.1, σ=0.63), width=4.0–5.3µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.33), Q=1.3–1.7µm (µ=1.49, σ=0.11), n=20. Seems to have hallmarks of a non olivaceous simocybe perhaps close to S. centunculus var. maritima? Or a tubaria but not T. perplexa and closer to Galerina (Tubaria) embolus. See T. pallidissima.
