Uredo myopori? Fits the description but only known from a few collections on Mauna Kea, Hawii. Host is presumably native Ngioi as in recent native planting restoration site. Differences M. laeta black buds and leaves dotted with glands, M. insulare green sticky leaf buds. This specimen has black sticky buds! Revisited site in October and still same few trees infected, just west of summit, in view of southern alps (and wind).
