Public Note:
fasiculate and rooting. Smell earthy/perfumed reminiscent of T. saponaceum. Gills with 3 series of lamellulae, notched. Stem hollow, with caulocystidia and white at apex with brown fibrils below. Cap dark in KOH. Cap polished but not sticky. Gills spotted brown occasionally, basally interveined. Stem without ring zone. Spores inamyloid.
