NB see G. Mueller's concept of L. lilacina. Here gill edge not dark anywhere, but with vesiculose cheilocystidia. Tissue clamped. cap with brown plasmatic and epimembranous brown pigment. Spores length=9.2–10.9µm (µ=10.0, σ=0.52), width=8.1–9.8µm (µ=8.9, σ=0.51), Q=1.1–1.2µm (µ=1.12, σ=0.04), n=20, spines to 2 x 2.5
