Specimen notes
Public Note:
in moss on log. Cystidia along entire length of stem. With weak ring remnants of veil. 4-spored, cystidia not lecythiform. section piliferae. Caulocystidia in fascicles, multiseptate, long. Hyphae clamped. Spores length=8.1–10.1µm (µ=9.1, σ=0.5), width=4.4–5.2µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.3), Q=1.7–2.1µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.1), n=13. Close to NZ but probably not. That originally described from soil in a a sheep paddock, with shorter caulocystidia, sligthly larger spores and larger fruitbodies. Cannot be this sp as original is section piliferae and this is Pholiotina (without a rng but with a veil) near dentimarginata. Clearly this does have veil remnants on cap.
