fruitbody dried black. With cheilocystidia at stem apex. Has broad pleurocystidia, pale brown with crystals at apex. Spores dark brow, not dextrinoid, and with broad pore (1.5um). Cap partially gelatinised, with spherical terminal cells. length=5.5–6.5µm (µ=6.2, σ=0.3), width=2.9–3.7µm (µ=3.4, σ=0.2), Q=1.7–2.0µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.1), n=15. Both Karl & I thought this was a Simocybe
