Specimen notes
Public Note:
Centraly stipitate, cap strigose, with erect hairs in the centre of the cap. pores 2-3 per mm. Spores not dextrinoid reaction, variable in size/shape. Tissue not clamped. Spores length=6.2-8.5µm (µ=7.2, σ=0.7), width=3.8-4.5µm (µ=4.2, σ=0.2), Q=1.4-2.0µm (µ=1.7, σ=0.2), n=16. Not strigosa although not convinced that spore size is much to go on, unless Buchan's observation of non-dextrinoid reaction hold. It does seem likley the Nothofagus taxon is different to this tea-tree associated one.
