Specimen notes
Public Note:
Smell of rotting cabbage. Stem covered in caulcystidia top to bottom. Gills in series of three. Cap an clamped cutis. Top layer partially gelatinised and with a few hyphae brown with extra-cellular zebroid encrustation and lobed (but not dryophila-like). Stem dextrinoid. Caulocystidia in fascicles. No gill cystidia seen. Spores clumping. length=7.5–9.1µm (µ=8.3, σ=0.4), width=5.0–6.3µm (µ=5.7, σ=0.4), Q=1.4–1.6µm (µ=1.5, σ=0.1), n=15. Pale stemmed so not Erua, spores to big for Kennedy, not conchifrom Lewis. Possibly Holdsworth. Needs sequencing. With DNA tube (as PDD#). Maybe G. ceraceicola = G. vinacea?
