Public Note:
No smell, taste mealy. Spores not dextrinoid, with distinct epispore (truly calyptrate), with plage (torn hole in epispore), not JAC10671. With cheilocystidia (ventricose with elongate cylindrical neck), without pleurocystidia. With caulocystidia at stem apex only, cylindrical and extending from clusters of globose cells. 4-spored. Clamps present. Spores length=7.1–8.3µm (µ=7.8, σ=0.4), width=4.5–5.2µm (µ=4.7, σ=0.2), Q=1.5–1.7µm (µ=1.6, σ=0.1), n=10. Hypnorum complex. Spores too small for subcerina and cystidia not inflated anough for austrocalyptrata sensu NZ
