same as JAC8544. slightly oily smell. Flesh yellow in cut base then turning brown. Ring hanging. Schaeffer negative. KOH on cap yellow with time. section xanthodermatei. Ring boot-like, grey/brown on upper surface. Cheilcocystidia not observed but perhaps disintegrated into browinsh mucilage on hyphal ropes at gill edge? Spores length=4.5–5.2µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.19), width=3.3–4.0µm (µ=3.6, σ=0.21), Q=1.2–1.5µm (µ=1.35, σ=0.07), n=20. .
