Public Note:
cap has squamules of cylindrical cells over basal soherical ones (like some Echinoderma). Spores limoniform length=6.4–8.1µm (µ=7.2, σ=0.5), width=4.3–5.8µm (µ=5.0, σ=0.4), Q=1.3–1.6µm (µ=1.4, σ=0.1), n=15. Seems to have a strong resemblance to F. rhombisporus. This is a Flammulaster with sequences near F. carpophila, the generic type. However sequences labelled that appear in multiple places, also near Phaeromarasmius rimulicola, the generic type of that genus.
