Gelatinous inner wall of peridium staining red with time. FeSO4 green (eventually black). KOH/NH4OH nil. Gleba with stem. Peridium with three layers, outer white, middle statining red on exposure, inner gelatinous. 6-7 spored basidia. as expected P. nothofagi is close in sequence trees.
