Specimen notes
Public Note:
smell unpleasant, oily (linsed). Taste mild. NH4OH/KOH/FeSO4 no reaction. Hymenium peeling in fresh material, to reveal white sub-hymenium. Clamped, 2-spored, spores large globose, with cystidia, sometimes 1 septate clamped. A bit small for this. This definitely has purple stems when young. Is there really a continuum with brunneo-cinerea?
