Public Note:
Taste and smell mealy. Cap to 2cm. Fruitbodies drying black. Cap cellular. Gills dark chocolate brown in dried material. Spores dark olivaceous brown in KOH, brown in water Spores with broad germ pore (2um), thick-walled. Without cheilocystidia. With vesiculose pleurocystidia, thin-walled, collapsing, with brown/yellow content. Not reacting with patent blue (not chrysocystidia). 4-spored. length=5.7–6.7µm (µ=6.2, σ=0.3), width=2.9–3.7µm (µ=3.3, σ=0.2), Q=1.7–2.3µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.2), n=15. To Egon 01/2012. Returned to PDD 05/2012. Surely not Simocybe?
