under layers of dead bark. Central and eccentrically stemmed. Olivaceous. Cap and stem covered in cystidia. Cap surface of erect capitate elements and occasionally with dark brown content (in melzers). Cheilocystida like cap elements. 4-spored. Closest to pruinatus length=7.4-8.4µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.4), width=4.6-5.1µm (µ=4.9, σ=0.2), Q=1.5-1.7µm (µ=1.6, σ=0.1), n=7. Possibly yet another new Simocybe. To Egon 01/2012. Returned to PDD 05/2012
