Specimen notes
Public Note:
from same locality as 11499, but without conchate shape, inrolled margin, or dark brown colours. With tomentum. Has a few filiform cheilocystidia but many monilioid gloeosphex cystidia. Spores length=5.4-7.2µm (µ=6.1, σ=0.7), width=3.0-4.0µm (µ=3.3, σ=0.4), Q=1.5-2.2µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.2), n=7. Is this the morphological bridge between podocarpinea and brunnea? This collection strengthens the case that these might be part of a continuum.
