Specimen notes
Public Note:
a) umbilicate and strongly decurrent gills and fibrillose stem base. b) convex then plane, without fibrils. Suspect these are the same. Smell slighlty mealy. Both confirmed to be the same. Older material the gill edge becomes lacerate and with tufts of filamentous cheilocystidia. No tissue amyloid or dextrinoid (maybe spores very slightly amyloid?). Exuding oil drops into melzers. Clamped, Cap a simple cutis of broad hyphae (to 15um) with light plasmatic brown pigment. 4-spored. length=4.7-5.7µm (µ=5.3, σ=0.5), width=2.5-3.2µm (µ=2.8, σ=0.3), Q=1.8-2.1µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.1), n=4.
