FN116. Pat's 'sp.1' with knobbly cheilocystidia, often in fasicles. Cap a partially gelatinised cutis, with oliferous hyphae. Spores 7x4. The sequence of this is identical to TENN53687 (DQ450034) as 'Gymnopus readii'. That is a misidentification. The real G. readii is a synonym of G. villosipes according to my examination of the type collection. TENN53687 (and this specimen) is Collybiopsis rimutaka, which is the correct name. More background
