Public Note:
basal mycelium fluorescent white. Spores length=6.1–6.9µm (µ=6.4, σ=0.3), width=3.2–3.8µm (µ=3.4, σ=0.2), Q=1.7–2.0µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.1), n=8. Amygdaloid in side view, elliptic in face view - obviously. ITS makes this identical to (99%ident, 96%coverage) PDD89018 which was collected as C. pholiotellus and redetermined as C. xenosma by Karl. Image does look the same as PDD89018, but not Karl's xenosma, which has veilar remnants on cap. PJR makes the comment that ITS places PDD89018 next to several collected as C. retipes ined.(PDD72872, 72657, 72625). Seems likley that C. retipes = C. eutactus <> C. xenosma, and this and PDD89018 are C. eutactus/retipes. C. eutactus belongs in Dermocybe according to sequences.
