Specimen notes
Public Note:
apothecia everything from nearly hyaline to copper. paraphyses glues together into an epithecium. The asci here are not of the Hyaloribila type, i.e. they taper, and are sometimes forked, othersise this would be Hyalorbilia inflatula. Paraphyses inflated, spores length=6.8–8.7µm (µ=7.7, σ=0.6), width=1.6–2.0µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.1), Q=3.4–5.0µm (µ=4.3, σ=0.5), n=13, and straight, asci around 4um diam. This is O. luteorubella - which has a broad concept (2 separate anamorphs described - Anguillospora & Helicoon). New record for NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010.
