Public Note:
stem strongly covered in cystidia along entire length. Without veilra remnants. Cheilocystidia lecythiform, spores smooth, with obvious germ pore, 4-spored, <10um. Caulocystidia a mixture of lecythiform and filiform cystidia. None of Watling's species. Spores length=7.8\endash9.8µm (µ=8.8, σ=0.5), width=4.3\endash5.2µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.2), Q=1.7\endash1.9µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.1), n=15. Section mixtae. Hausnecht comes to C. monicae but that with white stem, not brown with striate tufts of cystidia like this. C. pubescens and subpubescens have much larger spores. c. xylophyla/tuxlaensis close - latter known in Chile.
