Specimen notes
Public Note:
flesh slowly hot. Milk watery white. Smell fruity. Cap not peeling. KOH & NH4OH on cap nil. FeSO4 weakly salmon. Guaiac blue. Dried very pale compared to other collections. [JAC2010] without aculeate monilioid cystidia and spores with net reticulum. That would make it hauroko, but if red colouration of hauroki is characteristic then maybe this is someing else again. Cystidia (which are very sparse) and spores checked again.
