Specimen notes
Public Note:
no smell. Cap of dryophila-type and not ramealis (and therefore not congeneric with Marasmiellus ramealis - the type of Collybiopsis), stem smooth, cheilocystidia in fasicles, clavate, occasionally with apical extensions, araising from long hyphae parallel to gill edge, spores length=5.1–6.6µm (µ=5.9, σ=0.5), width=2.8–4.0µm (µ=3.4, σ=0.3), Q=1.4–2.0µm (µ=1.7, σ=0.2), n=16. This is Stevenson's rimutaka (?) but Egon mentions broom cells and dextrinoid hyphae, even though macroscopically he mentions the similarity with C. dryophila. ? Sequnce identical to DQ480094 Duke46 but is not same as two other sequences, as pointed out by Ron Petersen in his paper.
