predominantly 2-spored, excluding apiculuslength=9.6–11.8µm (µ=10.9, σ=0.6), width=8.9–10.2µm (µ=9.6, σ=0.3), Q=1.0–1.2µm (µ=1.1, σ=0.1), n=11, spines 1um. FN to L. pumila with fraterna and altaica a close second. This is L. pumila rather than fraterna. I am redisposing other Salix Laccarias currently under the name of L. fraterna to L. pumila - new record for NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010
