Public Note:
With apical blue ring in iodine. Not exuding pigment in KOH. Germ slit helical along entire length of spore. Ostiole not encircled with a disk. Stromata effuse, applanate, not surrounded by subicular hyphae. With smooth epispore. Spores length=11.9\endash17.5µm (µ=14.8, σ=1.7), width=4.5\endash5.8µm (µ=5.0, σ=0.4), Q=2.6\endash3.4µm (µ=3.0, σ=0.3), n=9. Doesn't key in Ju&Rogers Nova Hed, v74. Maybe a biscogniauxia? Not in Mycotaxon article or online. Nearest is B. marginata. Possibly stilbohypoxylon but no sign of an anamorph, germ slit like Helicogermslita. Material with 11145
