Public Note:
Eucalyptus gunii also present. Cap finely squamulose in centre and radially fibrillose towards edge. Odour faint, sweetish? Taste strongly mealy. Tissue clamped. Spores inamyloid. Cap a cutis. Stem flesh not discolouring, some with faint pink spot in flesh at base. Gill edge concolorous. Spores length=9.9–10.8µm (µ=10.3, σ=0.3), width=4.5–5.4µm (µ=4.9, σ=0.3), Q=1.9–2.3µm (µ=2.1, σ=0.2), n=10. Europe keys come to T. pardinum but perhaps not as robust as this species, and with larger spore Q value. LSU says in saponaceum group
