Firm rubbery. Cuticle with gelatinous layer but thin, .1-.2mm. With small basal columella. Smell weak, earthy. KOH no reaction to weak yellow, FeSO4 grey green slowly. Gleba drying olivaceous grey. Spores length=6.4\endash8.2µm (µ=7.2, σ=0.5), width=2.9\endash3.8µm (µ=3.2, σ=0.3), Q=2.0\endash2.4µm (µ=2.3, σ=0.1), n=10.
