Public Note:
green staining peridium. Smell of 'old chewing gum'. KOH yellow. FeSO4 red/brown. No internal gleba structure, drying chocolate brown. Not sure if FeSO4 reaction has been recrded for this taxon before. Some spores have an utricle close to H. inflatum. length=11.5–13.4µm (µ=12.4, σ=0.7), width=6.3–7.3µm (µ=6.8, σ=0.4), Q=1.6–2.0µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.1), n=9. ITS slightly different to jac11222
