stem smooth, without gloeocystidia anywhere, or pilocystidia. 4-spored. Cap with zebra-encrusted clamped hyphae and nodular excressences. Cheilocystidia clavate with large excressences. Spores length=6.8–9.2µm (µ=7.6, σ=0.7), width=3.6–4.3µm (µ=3.9, σ=0.3), Q=1.6–2.3µm (µ=2.0, σ=0.2), n=12. Microscopically close to aurantiobasalis. Macroscopically close to jac10397. In the Gymnopus dryophila group
