Public Note:
fruitibodies mostly spathulate B1/B2, minutely squamulose near attachment. No taste or smell. Spores echinulate, globose length=4.8–6.5µm (µ=5.8, σ=0.4), n=20, cap with clavate terminal elements consistently 5-8um, clamped. C. dilutus - cap hyphae too narrow, C. affinis - too small, C. trulliformis - cap hyphae not as capitate as they should be but the nearest. EH questions ident. To Egon 01/2012.
