cap not darkening in KOH. Stem base binding soil, enlarged but not marginate. 4-spored, spores smooth, phaseoliform, length=9.2–10.9µm (µ=10.0, σ=0.6), width=4.7–6.3µm (µ=5.3, σ=0.4), Q=1.6–2.2µm (µ=1.9, σ=0.2), n=16, cheilocystidia forming white gill edge, balloon-shaped,a few scattered brown squamules at stem base. Cystidia place this close to T. aureosimilis but colour wrong and that with fibrils at base of stem and smaller spores. Really a Phaeomarasmius. To Egon 01/2012
