Specimen notes
Public Note:
flesh staining orange when cut. Stem without a marginate basal bulb (definitely!). Ring double, brown felted underneath, white smooth on upper surface, gill edge brown towards cap edge. Not growing as fasciculate cluster, stem not curved (= brunneum sensu vellinga). With balloon-shaped cheilocystidia, length=22.0–26.7µm (µ=24.0, σ=2.1), width=13.5–16.0µm (µ=14.8, σ=1.2), Q=1.4–1.8µm (µ=1.6, σ=0.2), n=4. Spores length=8.8–9.7µm (µ=9.3, σ=0.3), width=5.4–7.4µm (µ=6.5, σ=0.5), Q=1.3–1.8µm (µ=1.4, σ=0.1), n=15. Sequence say rachodes. Perhaps try cheilo Q < 1.9 then rachodes, > 2.1 then brunneum
