[Arthur Bennett] For the record the photos were "staged" in my home garden. The fungus was "replanted" in front of a Tasmanian Blackwood. They had been growing in a country park ... under a totara among grass and hemlock plants. Pakowhai country park is a micture of natives and exotics, but I suspect they have all been planted at one time or another as all the surrounding land other than the park is orchard land."
