Public Note:
Does not match any species in Spooner. Quite large, white, stipitate disc densely covered with coarse, white, stiff hairs. Hairs about 130-150 x 3-4 µm, roughened all over. Excip of small, brick-shaped cells with slightly thickened agglutinated walls. Paraphyses extend about 10 µm beyond asci, 2.5 µm diam., tapering towards rounded apex. Asci subclavate, j+, 8spored, 1-2-seriate, spores extend more or less to base. Spores 21-25 x 4 µm, oblong elliptic, tapering to narrow, rounded ends, flat one side, gently curved, 0-septate.
