Specimen notes
Public Note:
greasy cap, dry stem, scattered in moss. KOH deep vinaceous on dried cap. No cystidia. Close to Soop's Telamonia group luteini C/ ignellus (as only one in group with KOH reaction). Not that however because it has orange-red girdles. Spores 6.1-6.7(6.4) SD0.2 n=10 x 4-4.8(4.4) SD0.3 n=10. These spores are small! Tis confirms that this can occur with either tea-tree or beech as there is no tea-tree here. The type was from mixed forest.
