Public Note:
cap greasy, stem dry. KOH negative on dried material. Without cheilocystidia. Spores finely punctate. Seems close to Soop's vernicifer except that with yellowish/grey gills and pale yellow veil and with Leptospermum. This looks like collybeanus except that described with subglobose spores. C. peraureus with white stem. Soop mentions molecular studies indicate more taxa in this group. Why not paraxanthus? See also 10812
