Public Note:
smell mealy. Dried material with a slightly yellower gill edge. Clamped. With small cylindrical seta and large thick-walled cystidia (scattered in fasicles) on cap, sometimes encrusted. Cheilocystidia metuloid and encrusted, walls to 10um thick. Pleurocystidia like cheilocystidia, perhaps somewhat broader. With gloeosphex cheilocystidia. Note that spores are not as cylindrical as some other NZ Hohenbuehelia spp. 6.8-8.3(7.3) SD0.5 x 4.7-6(5.3) SD 0.5 n=10.
