Public Note:
also collected at taieri on foray. Smell slightly of coumarin. Elastic flesh. No tissue amyloid or dextrinoid. Cuticle a cutis of glassy walled hyphae, with distinctive sub-epidermal sphero-pedunculate cystidia-like cells with basal clamp. No cheilo/pleurocystidia. 4-spored. Spores pip-shaped 5.4-6.3(5.7) SD0.3, n=7 x 3.4-4.2(3.8) SD0.2 n=11. Spores strongly and evenly cyanophilous, not metachromatic. Basidia not siderophilous. Tissue not gelatinous.
