fruitbody firm and elastic. Taste mild. Peridium and flesh pale olive with FeSO4. Spores spherical without plage, with reticulum, trama filamentous, without spherocysts, without lactiferous elements.Occasional giant spores. 7.1-9.7(8.3) SD0.9 n=12.
