Public Note:
hygrophanous, with patchy brown filamentous veilar remnants on cap. Spores smooth, > 6um, no hilar appendix 6.4-7.0(6.7) SD0.2, n=11 X 4.3-4.9(4.6) SD0.2, n=8.. Pleurocystidia absent. Veil remnants contents brown in KOH. Smith's psathyrella/pannucia. Nothing in Smith or EKW. Macroscopically like hydrophila/piluliformis - but not microscopically. Sequence indicates In the candolleana clade and close to material from the Cook Islands. It is unusual in posessing very pale spores, as does the CI specimens.
