Specimen notes
Public Note:
Cap drab with clay buff/vinaceous felty veilar remnants. Ring grey. Seems to have yellow rhizoidal hyphae in substrate. Spores amyloid. Pileus non appendiculate. Cap not radially streaked. Cheilocystidia variable in shape. Gill edge with broad oleiferous hyphae.Hyphae unclamped. Same as Egon's 69-041. Basidia not clamped but basally proliferating and so perhaps appearing clamped in early development of a bud. Spores, excluding apiculus (and from gill squash) length=8.7–10.4µm (µ=9.5, σ=0.45), width=7.3–9.1µm (µ=8.1, σ=0.47), Q=1.0–1.3µm (µ=1.18, σ=0.07), n=20. Basidia not clamped so not A. mumura.
