Specimen notes
Public Note:
with thick basal rhizoid and short stem nearly enclosed. Spores thick walled, brown, with refractive germ pore cap and hyaline apiculus. Surface a thin ixocutis overlying globose cells. 1, usually 2 spored basidia, hyphae clamped. No cystidia seen. Despite lack of chrysocystidia I'd say this is the same, or close to JAC9958 which Egon says is close to Leratia similis (but not like REB's image of L. similis). Spores 14.4-16.2(15) SD0.6 n=9 x 8.2-9.1 (8.7) SD0.2 n=9. [JAC] immature collection
