Public Note:
gills with some interveining and drying dark chocolate/purple. Cap hyphae unornamented, clamped, with dextrinoid plaque. Without pleurocystidia, with acuminate thin-walled cheilocystidia. 4-spored, spores amyloid, small, 6.5-8.3(7.1) SD0.5 n=12 x 3.9-4.6(4.3) SD0.3 n=12. M. fuscovinacea has characterstic cheilocystidia not shared with vinaceipora, whakapapa or cragieburn. Will be interesting to see if presence confirmed in the type (they are not present). Sequences say ver different to craigieburn/whakapapa. Material with same sequence does not have acuminate cheilocystidia.
