Specimen notes
Public Note:
Has lamellulae. This has thick-walled glassy hyphae in the cap, and some with bumps, and refractive cystidia in KOH, a bit thinner than gill cystidia and not acuminate - it is not R. cremeoochracea. SV-ve (actually very weakly brown, and tissue macroscopically pink). With strong amyloid spot, grey, not purple and without plage. This would appear to be R. australis, and if allochroa=australis then allochroa wins (published first, difference in allochroa mild and australis hot). Spores with occasional double size. length=8.0–10.0µm (µ=8.9, σ=0.5), width=6.8–8.6µm (µ=7.6, σ=0.5), Q=1.1–1.3µm (µ=1.16, σ=0.05), n=20
