LSU indicates not Humidicutis and in Hygrocybe so either H. conspicua is not a Humidicutis or this was incorrectly identified. Is this a form of H. blanda? Pileipellis with clamps but difficult to observer because hyphae mostly long and aseptate. A few enlarged terminal elements. Basidia with basal clamp but not toruloid. 4-spored, length=5.8–7.5µm (µ=6.4, σ=0.50), width=3.6–4.9µm (µ=4.1, σ=0.35), Q=1.4–1.8µm (µ=1.58, σ=0.10), n=17
